Yes. Your Safe Sac includes one SmartSafe temperature and humidity monitor, ready to connect to the Safe Sacs app.

Does SmartSafe measure my baby’s body temperature?
No. SmartSafe measures the temperature and humidity conditions inside the sleep sack while they sleep. It does not measure your baby’s body temperature and is not a medical device.

How far does the Bluetooth connection reach?
SmartSafe has a Bluetooth range of up to approximately 50 metres. Walls, doors and other obstacles may reduce the connection distance.

Does the app work with Android and iPhone?
Yes. The Safe Sacs app is available for both Android and Apple devices through Google Play and the Apple App Store.

How long does the battery last?
The replaceable battery lasts approximately 12 months, depending on usage and connection frequency.

Should I remove SmartSafe before washing the Safe Sac?
Yes. Always remove the SmartSafe device before washing your Safe Sac. Although the device is IP67 water-resistant, it should not be put through the washing machine or dryer.

Which size should I choose?

• 6–10 kg: approximately 4–12 months

• 9–15 kg: approximately 8–24 months

Age is a guide only, as every baby grows differently. The neck and armholes should fit securely, and your baby’s head must not be able to pass through the neck opening. Choose the size that provides a secure fit rather than sizing up for extra growing room.

Safety and Testing

Every Safe Sac is tested to AS/NZS 1249:2014 for children’s nightwear and limited daywear having reduced fire hazard.

Its TOG rating and thermal performance are independently tested to EN ISO 11092:2014 and BS EN 16781:2018.

SmartSafe monitors environmental conditions inside the sleep sack. It does not measure your baby’s body temperature and is not a medical device.

Care

Remove the SmartSafe monitor before washing.

Cold machine wash with like colours. Follow the care instructions attached to your Safe Sac.

SmartSafe is not a toy and must remain securely enclosed inside the Safe Sac pocket during use. When it is not installed, keep it out of reach of children.
