Meet the Founder
Meet Allanah
I’m Allanah, a mum of two, and the founder of Safe Sacs.
I created Safe Sacs, to help parents feel seen, supported and able to reclaim their wellbeing during precious nap times.
My journey began from my experience as a parent during the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both of my babies were born mid lock-down, and with my partner in emergency response, I spent a lot of time alone.
It was just me, figuring out motherhood in the midst of a pandemic.
I began to feel overwhelmed, anxious and disconnected from myself. Compounded by a constant fear of SIDS and sickness while my babies slept, I started to experience what I called ‘night-time anxiety’.
That’s when the idea for Safe Sacs came to me.
I thought, "Why isn’t there a product that could take a bit of the pressure off?"
Something that would let parents like me trust their baby was being actively monitored, while we could take some time to care for ourselves too.
Mums and dads are allowed to take up space too. Parenting shouldn’t mean disappearing.
I’m all about finding balance, and I know Safe Sacs can help you do the same.
“I needed this… So i made it.”
“Safe Sacs was born from my hardest moments, so you don’t have to feel the same.”
