Understanding TOG
TOG stands for "Thermal Overall Grade." It's a measurement used to indicate the warmth or thermal insulation of bedding, such as blankets and Sleep Sacs!
The TOG rating helps guide parents in choosing bedding suitable for different room temperatures. A higher TOG rating means more warmth, while a lower TOG rating indicates lighter warmth.
FAQs
What is the Smartsafe device range?
The Smartsafe is Bluetooth connected up to 50 meters, however like all Bluetooth devices, the closer the range, the more accurate.
How do I connect to the SmartSafe Device?
Remove the battery block when you first receive your SmartSafe device. Next, go into settings on your phone, ensure location settings are enabled and the closest devices will be listed. Select your SmartS device.
How Safe is my Smartsafe Device?
The device has no heat output and has undertaken strenuous safety testing and is in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations (FCC).
Which pocket should I use for my SmartSafe device?
Our Safe Sacs are completely customisable, because we know that no one knows their baby better than their carer. If you have a tummy sleeper, we recommend the side pocket, and if you have a baby who sleeps on their side or back, we recommend the front pocket.
What happens if I accidentally put my Smartsafe through the wash?
As a parent, we know accidents happen, and often! Although we don’t recommend the Smartsafe going through the machine, the unit is IP67 rated, which means it is fully waterproof.
What if i want to change my babys sleeping parameters on my Safe Sac app?
If you decide you’d like to tweak our pre-set alarms, you have full control. You can change the alerts through your Safe Sacs app Settings - Manage Temp Alerts.
Can I machine wash my Safe Sac?
Absolutely, no one wants to hand-wash. Gentle, cold machine wash with like colours.
How many Safe Sacs do I need?
Depending on what your climate control is at your house, we recommend at least two Sacs of varying TOG to cover different sleeping conditions. There are also life’s little accidents, so keep one on reserve when the other is in the wash.
How do I know what TOG rating to use?
Our Safe Sac app will auto recommend which clothes and TOG is best for your baby, depending on their room temperature. We will take the guesswork out of bedtime for you.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We offer 14-day returns on unused items.
To be eligible, products must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, and in original packaging (including tags and gift box).
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
If your Safe Sac or SmartSafe device arrives faulty, damaged, or not functioning as expected, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
We can organise a replacement or a full refund and will cover return shipping if required.
Please include photos or a brief description so we can assess the issue quickly.
SMARTSAFE DEVICE RETURNS
SmartSafe devices can only be returned unused, unless they are faulty.
If faulty, we will assess and provide a replacement or refund.
ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN
• Sale or clearance items
• Gift cards
• Products that are used, washed, or damaged after delivery

We will reply with next steps within 3 business days.
REFUND PROCESSING
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy.
